Co-Founder & President
Dustin Johnson is one of the original founders of Waco Thunder Baseball and serves as the President of the Board of Directors for Waco Thunder Baseball, Inc. He has coached seven seasons with Thunder along with multiple seasons at Midway Little League and the Waco Challenger Little League for children with physical/mental disabilities. In 2009, Dustin was honored with a Jefferson Award for Public Service by the American Institute for Public Service at the George Bush Presidential Library.
Currently, Dustin is pursuing an undergraduate degree in Sport Management and is in his junior year at Texas A&M University. While in the Brazos Valley, Dustin served as a manager for the Twelve Baseball Academy for three seasons. The Twelve is emerging as one of the premier developmental and high school showcase organizations in the country.
Dustin is also the Founder & Chairman of Shriners Baseball; an organization that hosts youth baseball events across the country that fully benefit Shriners Hospitals for Children. He also serves on the Sports Committee for Shriners International headquarters in Tampa, Florida. |
